Yes, when using Windows on a Mac, its basically a PC. No difference, just an Apple logo
. So anything you can run on a PC, you can run on a Windows Mac.

I do it. I have XP running with 512megs of RAM in VMWare Fusion in unity mode. I have it running just for Zune/Office 2007/IE. Once office 2008 comes out that will kill my need for the Office 2007....except for Visio 2007. I only use IE to support Sharepoint users. IE just works better with that MS product.
I like my Zune. Its sturdy as heck and since the 2.0 software its a pretty good overall package. That said I am looking at a Ipod Touch when they get a hard drive or more memory. The screen on the Zune, plus its wireless syncing, and FM radio just make it a better device than the iPod HD models right now.
iTunes is better software overall. Zune's playlists are stupid as in they are just drag and drop only.
