Man, all I can say is WOW! This computer is significantly faster than the P4 computer I've been using and I love it! Right now, I'm using Adium, making a disk image of Warcraft III,listening to iTunes, and using Safari (obviously). Anyway, I haven't seen any lag and by God, this is a beautiful computer! It's so clean and sleek. I love it! But, I'm trying to figure out how to add movies and music so that they can be used in Front Row and I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my music and movies with my iPod in Disk Mode because both computers keep restoring it.... hmmm but w/e I still love this computer!

Congrats on your new toy! For Front Row to show your movies and music, put them in your home directory's movies and music folders (you'll easily see them in Finder's side bar).

Ehh I just got the entry-level one which is surprisingly powerful. I mean, I've used macboks a lot at the store but it's a little bit different when it's yours and you're actually running the programs with a meaning lol versus just screwing around on the ones at the Apple Store.

OK cool thanks! Do you know what the fastest was to transfer files from my old computer (PC) is? I don't have an external hard drive and iPod disk mode doesn't work cuz you have to keep restoring for the different formats (Mac and PC)

Nice, congrats on your new MacBook, SamsungFTW!

Do you have blank recordable CDs? You can burn music, pictures, and files onto CDs and then copy them onto the MacBook.

Ahh. Well I would suggest you burn a DVD then but you have the Combo Drive...do you have an flash drive? If not, you should get one, they're very useful nowadays and not that expensive.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Transfer your iTunes songs by flash drive.

Why not just transfer the files over your network?

Yeah, he could do that too. But I just find flash drive easier to explain :p.

Oh and SamsungFTW, if you want to see Movies in Front Row, just put any video files you have onto the Movies folder in Finder. It will show up in Front Row's Videos section.

Unless you have a dvd burner in your p4 which I assume is where your music is, just burn a dvd with that computer. But I guess it's cheaper to just use your usb drive.
