I'm planning to switch to Mac and I'm thinking about a MacBook Pro 15-inch with these specs:

    3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM3 - 2x2GB
    500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm

I'm wondering if it's compatible with Snow Leopard?

You're good to go buddy. If Apple's Snow Leopard can't work with those specs then they're outta business. :p
