    MacBook Pro wont recognize Cinema Display

    I am trying use my macbook pro with its lid closed while connected to my 23" cinema display. However, when I wake up the system with a mouse, the cinema display will wake up (without the menu bar and dock) but after a few seconds, go right back to sleep. What is the problem? I was able to do this without any problems before until recently.
