This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     MacBook Trackpad get stuck and keep dragging

    I don't know if anyone have this problem, but BOTH my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air Trackpad sometimes get stuck in drag mode.

    For example, I will select a Window, say Firefox, by clicking the top to drag it to another position. When I lift my finger and press the trackpad again to click another Windows, the mouse still stuck at Firefox windows and moved that instead.

    This was apparently a well-documented problem as shown in Apple Support Forum.

    I don't know if anyone have any solution to this problem....

    That happens to me also, frequently. I usually reboot to fix it. I figured it was a setting that I was missing. Maybe its not. It sure is annoying.
