This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just a curious question.. can you fresh install Win7 on a MacBook? I mean no Mac OS at all. Thanks for the input.

    You should be able to, as Windows Vista (since Service Pack 1) and 7 64-bit support native installation on UEFI machines.

    However, if you don't intend to run OSX at all, there are several cheaper, more powerful, and better built alternatives you should consider. There's really nothing special about the hardware in the MacBook; most of the draw lies in the OS.
