Anyone been doing this? Pretty much it's a game to get free apps. They give you missions every so often and you do the puzzles to get free apps, then when it's all over there is a pack of apps that you can buy at a discount. The mission ones give you $2 off the final pack. You can only do the current missions. I am kinda mad because I check this out a month before it started and forgot to go back. So I missed out on some apps.

 

No one want's free apps for OS X? There's some good one, and Veronica Belmont, Lisa Bettany and Chris Pirillo are doing a bundle reveal show tomorrow night. So we will see what apps will be in the bundle.

 

I plan to try this out. hopefully their bundle will have something I can use. thanks and their system is actually pretty cool.

 

Well there bundle is out and it's only $39, and it can be worth up to $500 if all the unlocks are unlocked.

 

Nice! I am going to jump on that, but I don't know how to unlock! That's a great deal for $39, especially for something worth over $500. Is anybody else going to get this?

 

The unlocks come when when they reach a goal of sales, You can see that under the next app to get unlocked. You will get that app even if you have already bought the bundle. last year they made 3/4 of a million dollars, and 25% goes to charity.

That's very interesting! Thanks Seshan! So we need as many people to buy this package in order to get the most apps. And don't forget charity. They didn't have to donate to charity, but they did, and that's part of the reason I followed though on this deal.

 

Yeah the more people buy the better Then we get more apps! And some really good ones are in the unlocks so I hope we get them

 

I hope so! When I checked it about an hour ago, 78 packages were sold, so were on the right track.

 

Sales sure have jumped. I think I may be getting this for Acorn, Wiretap pro and the possibility of espresso and hitlist. I like acorn for its GPU acceleration

World of Goo is a nice addition to.

I didnt know how it was last year, but looking at how sales has been for the last 4-5 days, I doubt that we'll ever get the hit list and espresso, unless they unlock it to boost sales.

 

Unless they give 12 mac apps to everyone, it could be false advertising... They said 12 great mac apps for a great price, so based on that I am thinking they would have to give 12 apps regardless of whether or not they are crap to everyone.

That being said there is already 140 bucks of apps i want.

Hmm, I think I will be buying it now. I have a use for littlesnapper to take photos from the internet for a project and organize them if it is decent.

Delicious library is kind of cool a friend uses it. And I sort of wanted to try multiwinia. That combined with World of Goo, Acorn and Wiretap Studio, I will probably buy it.

 

Yes, those are some great apps, and all of them for only $39! I'd jump on it, but I just got a new iPhone 3G today and I need to save to pay that off.

 

They added another app to the bundle a RSS reader called Times. Don't think I will use it, I like my GReader just fine. I didn't think I would use Delicious library until I saw that you can use your iSight as a bar code scanner, I went crazy scanning everything I could. It works great.

 

That's amazing! I never knew that you could do that, but I learn something new every day! I'm anxious about this deal...

 

Yeah it is amazing. So far every type of media (Games, DVD, Orginal Lion King Tapes, books, Music CD's) I've tried worked.

Woo! The final unlock as been unlocked, They got over 100,000 in just 12 hours, beating the first day sale.

Beatsiz, there are a couple but none are really as good as macheist. There was http://www.macbundlebox.com/ just last month I think. I'd be iffy with that one now the creater was doing a scam site that lasted about a week before he shut it down and took everyone's money. He says he was just doing marketing for it. But I still would be careful, he's also like 16-17.

Anyways today is the last day to buy the macheist bundle, I would really recommend buying it's well woth the $40.

If you go to the main page in click view your receipt there will be a button to click to tell a friend. There will be a link if you get 2 people to use it you get more apps. Once you get your keys they will also be under the receipt area. They are also sending out a email to everyone who bought the bundle once it's over will all the serials.

If you have twitter (or even if you don't just sign up for it) Do the tweet blast to get some more apps. Delicious library is awesome.
