I'm going to soon receive my macbook and, oh well, it's new! So there's (almost) no software there (yet).

I did a little research, and I found this website:
MacUpdate September 2010 Bundle - $400+ of Great Mac Apps for $49.99

Which is offering 10 applications for a really good price, if you consider the individual price of each application.

    I have two main questions.

    1)
    a) Do you guys think this package is worth the bought? Please comment on it!

It includes the following applications, for US$50,00:

    Toast 10 Titanium (US$100)
    Live Interior 3D Standard (US$50)
    My Living Desktop (US$35)
    Espionage 2 (US$35)
    ShareTool 2 (US$25)
    Get Backup Pro (US$40)
    Cashculator (US$30)
    MindNode Pro (US$25)
    Concentrate (US$30)
    Voila 3 (US$30)

I really liked Toast, Espionage, and MindNode Pro. If I were to buy they separately, it would cost me US$170,00.

    b) If anyone has interest on other applications from the package, I may buy it and sell the serial for the required application (for a fair price, of course, considering that all will cost US$50,00)

    2) Is it really trusty? Anyone ever ordered something from there? It seems to be trusty, but the https symbol there beside the link is red. It says the website idendity was confirmed, but it has some features which are not secure. I don't think this is a huge problem, but..

ps.: This bundle will expire tomorrow (leaving place for other bundle, I think), so, a quick reply will me immensely appreciated xD

    Thanks again! :p

First off, Macupdate is a trusted site.
Second off, If the bundle is worth it is up to you to tell. I've never heard of any of that software.
Third off, there are all kinds of sites that have bundles most of them have crappy apps that are just copys of another. I swear, how many DVD ripping software do we need. There are plenty of free ones out there and it seems like every bundle has a different one in it.
Forth off, watch out for Macheist.com, it's the best, not sure if it's going to happen again, but I am hoping it does, they usually have good bundles, and when a full on macheist is on there are puzzles to do to get free apps, and they are usually good ones.

if the apps you would use justify the cost, then go for it. it is only $50.

The only one on the list that tempted me was Toast 10 at 50% off - but there wasn't enough in new features that I can't do in v9 to convince me to spend $50 to get it....
