This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I can't vouch for this software as I've never used it (I use RipIt and sometimes DVD Ripper by 4Media) but it looks promising. I came across this today which describes the giveaway - until Nov 1 you can get it free. LINK

    I just installed it and it activated with no issues. It looks like it has a few preset outputs for portable devices (iPhone - including 4's retina resolution support, iPod, PSP, iPad, Apple TV) and other disk copy options.

    Anyhow, it might be worth a try - it is free after all.

    Good find.
    I use roxio toast which I believe can rip/convert DVDs anyway, would this be any different?
