I read on the net, that installing Adobe flash will reduce the battery life of my MBA by 33%. I can live without flash. I mean it is nice to watch a YouTube video every now and than... but I can live without that.
I searched other threads here and cannot get an answer.
1. Is the info on Flash and battery life true?
2. Is there a way of installing Flash and enabling and disabling it?
Thanks all.

1. You'll get differing answers depending who you ask. Personally I believe it to be true.
2. Nothing to my knowledge......but of course that doesn't mean there isn't. -
Turning flash off and on.

Thanks. I was hoping to stay with Safari. Will give it a look.

For Safari....
Search Add-ons :: Safari Add-ons
"Click to Flash" should be the first result of the search link. -
Thanks. That is cool.
I bit of a dumb question... being able to turn off flash means being able to solve the battery issue? -
ClickToFlash
is what you want. flash videos/ads won't load unless you click on them. best way to go. -
Thanks again.
