    Couple of questions. Who's a college student and has a Macbook Air? Do you think I would make a mistake ny selling my2008 2.4 ghz aluminum macbook? Mba advantages lighter, better screen. C

    I don't have a MBA, but if you don't need the CPU power, its one of the best laptops for college students - decent battery life and a light charger...on top of the lack of physical presence.

    I don't think you would see a huge benefit over what you have now after you sell your current laptop and buy the MBA. If you are just looking for something new, then maybe.

    Lightpeak would be nice, better screen resolution my Macbook at 1280x800 Macbook air at 1440x900.

    Macbook pro has more resolution compared to the 800p resolution of Macbook Air.
