Does the MB support a Dual Monitor function? I understand that the MB can use an external monitor at much higher resolutions but can the MB use an external monitor as a dual monitor?
If no, can the MBP do this? I'll be using my MB mainly for graphic design but I don't think I can justify the costs for getting an MBP over a MB. I always have my desktop for bigger jobs. If I did get a MB I would almost always connect it to an external monitor, if it support a dual monitor feature everything would be perfect.

The mb does support dual monitors as well as the mbp. I think the difference, correct me if I'm wrong, is the mbp has dvi.

The MB doesn't have an included DVI port; it has a special video out port that you need to use in conjunction with a video-to-DVI (or video-to-VGA, etc.) adapter. The MBP has an included DVI port.
The main difference in terms of dual monitor support is the max resolutions it can drive.
The MacBook can support an external resolution on the second external display up to 1900x1200. The MacBook Pro can drive up to 2560x1600. -
it supports dual monitor, but, if I were going to drive dual monitors, I'd want the video card...
Maybe look around for someone selling a 2.16GHz MBP?
