I have a couple of questions about running Windows on the 15,4" santa rosa MBP, after some reading over the last weeks I am finally completely confused by reports about what is working and what isn't.

My main concern is the DVI output, there have been reports about it not working at higher resolutions with some drivers. Not working color management in Windows as described by some people would also be a show stopper for me.

What about power management, it seems it is not as good under Windows as in OSX (about 3W more power consumption).

I assume that since there is no magic way to get the power consumption down it should be a matter of configuration (reducing system load and making better use of power saving on the CPU and GPU).

So, are there additional power management / tweaking tools that work with the MBP / bootcamp drivers? Like Riva Tuner, Notebook Hardware Control or SpeedFan that could be used to bring power consumption and temperature down to OSX levels under Windows?

Also which version of Windows should I use? I have XP pro, Vista Business, or Vista Business 64bit licenses.

These are all good questions. I'd like to know as well.
