I'm interested in buying a macbook pro (have been interested really during the last couple of months), but i try to postpone its purchase as much as i can ... The reason of doing this, it's because i have read a lot of things about macbook pros which regard many problems that users face with them ... Battery problems, heating problems, noise problems etc. ... I heard that the newer revisions (revision d if i'm correct) mbp solve some of these problems, but i want to be sure ... You see, i live in europe, and apple computers are almost nowhere to be found ... I would hate spending so much cash on a brand new laptop, and having problems from day one ... So, i want to ask all of you who have bought a mbp, if you are experiencing one of the above problems (or more), and if you do, when have you bought your mbp .. Thanks ...
P.s. I'm interested in the mbp 15,4'', 2.16ghz version if it makes any difference ...

Well, I have had lots of issues. I would really rather not go through all of them. The battery, heat, and noise issues seem to pretty much have been resolved. I had no issues with ose except the processor whine noise which Apple quickly fixed once they admitted it was a problem. So, if you are worried about getting a good notebook, I think you will be fine. If an issue crops up in the first 14 days you can return it for a full refund. Apple rarely charges the restocking fee if it is defective. If you get past the 14 days, Apple has the best support in the industry with turn around times as short as 3 days. HTH and good luck!

I've had my MBP for a week now and so far so good. I was a bit worried as well, but mine has no heat/whine issue.

Most of the issues have been resolved now, so I wouldn't be worried; Apple are renowned for their good customer service, so if you have any issues and jump on them early, I'm sure Apple will fix you up. In my opinion you should wait another few weeks since the new Core2Duo processor is apparently being implemented in the Macbook and MBP in early September.

Yeah like I said before, its not always a good idea to get an idea of how good a notebook (any notebook for that matter) online, no one really says "Oh my notebook is running awesome today" in posts, you only see people post when they are upset or something thats when they'll talk about it.
Just remmeber that.
