Hey guys,
I haven't actually ordered anything from Apple online before, but I ordered a Macbook Pro CTO on Sunday and here's my shipment tracking from Fedex. What exactly is Int'l shipment release and why did my package go from Alaska to Indiana when I'm in Texas? lol![]()

That's probably Fedex's midwest collection point for orders coming in from China (the country where they are made). Might be a customs inspection site. Not unusual.
-
Thats nothin! I once ordered a textbook from Amazon that was shipped from Oregon to me in California. At one point it was in Massachusetts!

Maybe there's no flight from Alaska to Texas? It would be faster if they ship it to Indiana first lol
-
I wouldn't worry. I recall that international release thing showing up on my tracking. The shipping was definitely not the most direct path either.

Same, I live in Wisconsin and when it arrived in the states it showed up in TN and made its way here, just ignore any weird things it says, its fine.
I bet you wish it would just get there sooner!

Thanks for all the input guys
Fedex tells me that it'll be delivered tommorow morning -
I take it you got your new computer today, hopefully you'll come and post your input on it, see if the revision that apple made has helped.

lol yeah, and I'm having a lot of fun with voice over
I'll post a review soon but so far I haven't had any issues. I had a scare with Airport when it wouldn't connect to any pages even though it said it was connected to my router, but hopefully it was just a human erorr on my part
