    Hi,

Went into a store today to have a look at the new macbooks and they were very nice :). One thing I noticed is that if you double tap on the touchpad over an icon it won't open it. Is there a way to enable that through software or something?

Double-tapping isn't normally enabled by default, I don't think. You need to go into System Preferences and enable double-tapping in the Mouse control panel.

This is also where you enable and disable things like two-finger scrolling, two-finger right clicking, etc.
