I have a question, a pretty nooby one too.
Is there a difference between the Macbook Pro and the Macbook Pro Unibody? Are they not the same thing? The normal one is made of aluminum right?

The Macbook Pro (non unibody) was an aluminum body laptop that was Apple's 15"-17" flagship from 2006-2008 I think? It is an older body that did not incorporate the new unibody construction.
The Macbook Pro Unibody is 13"-15"-or 17" and has the new unibody look with newer hardware. This one is aluminum too.
Unibody is newer and more current. Apple doesn't sell non-unibody anymore. -
The MacBook Pro, to my knowledge, has always been made of aluminum. "Unibody" simply refers to the latest generation being machined out of one piece of aluminum rather than separate attached pieces. Whether or not this provides any real benefit is a point of some contention, but it's great for marketing and doesn't really matter since all current MacBook Pros are unibody anyways.
Edit: Curses, seconds too late! -
Thanks to both of you. But +1 to chris2k5. TBH, his answer was.. a "for sure" answerto me . You get what I mean?
But we still cool, lowlymachine. -
I think unibody is something Apple UNDER markets. -
just to be well-rounded: I have laptops that aren't unibody that do not creak.
Elitebook FTW. -
Well of course it is 133t...No excuses but it is a business notebook; not consumer.
I probably should've been more specific...Mah bad.

The non-unibody MBPs had plastic pieces too.
The unibody MBPs have better fit and finish than the non-unibody models (I have three of the non-unibody models and there's one in front of me right now). -
