Like you've probably concluded from the multiple threads I've made already, I'm in the market for a new Apple notebook, specifically the top of the line Macbook (illuminated keyboard).
I am wondering if I can get multiple batteries as I may be doing some traveling where I won't have access to a power supply. Therefore, since the new Macbook is so user serviceable, I was wondering if it was possible for me to get multiple batteries, where I could buy them from, and who I could buy them from.
Thanks.

There's something so obvious here that your post seems like a trick question, but ...
Yes, you can buy extra MacBook batteries from any Apple Store as well as Apple.com. However, higher-capacity MacBook batteries (e.g. higher capacity than Apple's = last longer than Apple's) are made by Fastmac and Newertech. Additionally, FastMac makes a charger that let's you charge a battery without the MacBook.

I just made a quick search at the Apple online store and found a battery you can buy for $129, but its for the previous generation black Macbook.
I would guess that separate batteries for the new aluminum Macbook will be available in the same place soon. -
Why not buy a travel adapter, and just plug it in to AC?
This is what I'm planning to get soon. -
Thanks for the links; however, the second one seems a bit outdated and they don't carry the battery for the aluminum Macbook yet - actually, they don't even have the Macbook/Macbook Pro models from the previous generation, only the iBook and PowerBook.

Any high capacity batteries for the aluminum Macbook? I'm actually not sure 5 hours of projected time will suit my needs.

I'd go with either the Apple site or the Apple store I know they sell them I was in there for a screen repair not too long ago (which was my mistake and cost me quite a bit for a dumb move on my part) and a guy was buying a new battery not that it's in relevance, or of any help for you but it's cheaper if you bring in an old battery and trade it in.
