LOL ArmanSLR, bet you felt pretty stupid after that one. :p

You'll get used to OS X.

Right now I'm currently creating a Mac Users guide in PDF format with pictures and the works basically almost an ebook, its looking pretty sweet. Heres a screenshot of the Title page.

Btw just updated and I did indeed see a 10C degree drop in tempertures, thanks! :D

Man That's Sweet!!! But yeah, OS X is everything. I mean if you are not a gamer and you use windows, I advize you to go to an apple store and check i out. I would keep my macbook that uses OS X even if someone offered to trade a SLI 19" Gaming Notebook, I love it!!!! I gotta go get that screwdriver and install the ram tomarrow!! I want to see how fast it go's. My Desktop is old and has 512 mb ram, this thing blow's past it. I LOVE MAC!!!

There is a security update that I missed as well, was wondering if it had something to do with wifi but it doesn't seem to. No mooing so far (knocks on wood). It seems that the fans are always on now?

I hear a very, very faint noise (only possible to hear in a very silent environment) that I don't recall hearing before, even when the temps are quite low. I am not sure if it is the fan. The temperature drop was impressive, more than 10C. :D

Just goes to show you that Apple isn't just sitting back and ignoring their customers, they are doing something about it. Thats exactly the kind of thing that makes Apple shine in my eyes.

Man, mine its at 45 right now, i mean, idle temperature has droped. Full 100% load on both cores its the same (try doing a openssl speed twice so u get both cores used at 100%)

Well, one could argue that other manufacturers fixed this problem *before* shipping the notebooks. They use the same hardware, after all, but these problems only occurred on Apple's systems. You could say that a company that fixes problems before they get customers complaining is better than one that does it afterwards. ;)

That wasn't the point of my post, the point I was making is that their customer services is actually listening to the customers and reporting it to the proper people to fix. I've dealt with other companies and most of them just push you off to the side and try making up for it by giving you a discount on something, and not even really fix the issue.

We're glad your happy with your Macbook, its truly is a wonderful product to go with OS X, to me it seems like OS X only graces its presence on quality hardware.

Both lines MBP and MB are awesome! :)
