    Hey all,

I finally got my macbook last week ... only for them to update it 2 days later!

No matter - a quick trip to the apple store sorted that out and i now have a new machine.

First night i tried to copy across all my music (70GB) from an external drive. All seemed to be going well and everything seemed to be copied across - and my HD is now only 22gb free (120 gb model).

My issue is that i cant find thefiles anywhere on the mac!! I've tried everything going through it folder to folder - and its def not in the itunes folder where i copied all the music across - so basically i have 70Gb hidden somewhere on this system!

anyone know how i can find the files on my system?

    Thanks.

first to a spotlight search for .mp3 files and see if they turn up there.

If not, get HoudahSpot and you should be able to find them.

Use Disk Inventory X to find your files:
    http://www.derlien.com/

Let it scan your HD and then all you have to do is select MP3 and click on it to see where it's located.
