I upgraded my 2.4 Ghz MBP, to 4 gb ram from 2gb. I use crucial, but i think systems feels hot on the right side. and the base! is that normal?
-
On the right side of the machine is a little unusual, but macbook pros do run very hot. Even on tasks that aren't intensive my macbook pro is usually very warm underneath (too warm for my lap unless it's winter!).
What does temperature monitor say? -
On the right side of the machine is the HDD and the Superdrive, so I'd check how hot the HDD is before anything. Is it on the upper right side or the lower right side that's getting hot?
BTW, might want to download Istat Pro to keep track of your temperatures.
