What is the 128 gig ssd that the apple store online offers as upgrade for the Macbook Pro core i5?

Is it worth the upgrade from 500 gig 7200 rpm for 200$ more (student discount in Canadian price)? or should i just save up for an intel x2?

It really depends on what SSD apple uses. Anybody know?
