Okay, here's the deal. I have 3 computers in my house. An iMac, which is wired to my Linksys wireless G router, and an HP notebook, and a Macbook, both of which are connected wirelessly. Both notebooks have worked flawlessly online until a few days ago when the HDD of the HP notebook was swapped out. I had to call Linksys to help me re-sync it. The dude had me change some values on my settings page on the net, and create a network. (I never did any of this the first time around).

So everything's working great until the internet signal from the Macbook's Airport times out. This happens randomly all throughout the day, and I have to manually re-connect to the network every time. The Macbook isnt under Warranty anymore, and the Linksys guys don't know anything.

    Can anyone help me?

it sounds like a settings problem. if you can give some more details on the router settings, we may be able to give more help.

Anything in specific? There are a whole lotta things on that config page, and I really don't know too much about any of it.

Did you void it somehow? Kind of hard for a product with a one-year warranty that hasn't existed for a year yet to be out of warranty otherwise...

Or do you mean your support ran out?

Its most likely a setting on your router, something to do with timeout, or another similar word. I had a similar issue with my router years ago, it was set to timeout after 10min of inactivity, just set this to 0 and all should be good.
Perhaps have a look thru the linksys forum for similar issues.
