Is macbook compatible with router-N? The top brands of routers released N routers but I haven't seen any laptops with N compatible on their specs.

It's "compatible" in the sense that you can communicate with an 802.11n router, but you don't get "N" speeds.
The only Mac currently shipping with an 802.11n card is the new large-size iMac, and the drivers don't yet support "N" speeds on that either.
The "N" spec was only really standardized this month, though it's been sitting in committees for a long time. There is speculation that the next revision of the Macbook Pro will support it (it would help with Apple's announced wireless iTV gadget), and I'd imagine the next revision of the Macbook will as well, though that could be more months away. -
As for the MacBook, it SHOULD work in g mode. Problem is most pre-n and draft-n routers have a difficult time in mixed environments. If you have a g router, I would stick with that until n is actually a standard. -
yes it is compatible but you would get slower sppeds -
i agree with cahmonee. besides the "final" N product would be faster and have longer range and less nail-biting problem. it would be best if you wait. last time i checked; current N product doesn't work as advertise, they have shorter range and less speed than they claim.
