    Macbook yellow stain palm rest?

    Hi there people.

    First of all I already tried searching for posts with info about this but couldn't find any so I must ask...

    for those who owns white macbooks, have you had any problems with the palmrest on your laptop?? I'm sure you're all aware about that yellowish stain problem that affected first gen macbooks, but I just wanted to ask from people who actually owns a macbook.

    Have you had any problems so far? and also, when did you buy your macbook?

    Yeah, it's been discussed many times, and the issue was only present on the first batch of Macbooks. I have a late 2006 model and have not had any discolourations.

    Late '07 MacBook here, with discolouration. Will post up a picture as soon as imageshack plays nicely.

    No discoloration issues for me. If there is, its considered a defect and replaced by Apple.

    mine hasn't "discoloured"... but it is slowly getting "shiny" (i.e showing oil wear?)

    Haha, that's wear. Funny note, I noticed that the right part of my spacebar is more worn down than the left side, because when I type I always space with my right thumb :p.
