Hey folks, just wondering if anyone on here had purchased a recent unibody MBP with an SSD directly from Apple. I've been trying to find out what make and model they are using to find out how it fares against ones I could install myself. I really don't like the idea of having to swap drives every time I need the MBP serviced, so unless they are using really crappy SSDs, I'm leaning more toward just getting the MBP with one already installed.

I believe they are Gen 2 Samsungs, which are fairly good (no stuttering) and have excellent battery life.
