What memory is everyone using? I want to put 8Gb in but not sure what brand. There are two different memory IC's used in ram most are the Hynix or something like that. I was looking for the Elphida chips, they have a lower error rate. Do you think it really makes a difference?

    I have a Mid-2010 MBP i5 2.4Ghz with 256MB nVidia graphics.

I've always bought Kingston. Never a problem or issue.

I know you have a 15" but in the 2010 13" it only will accept 1066mhz ram so do check to make sure what the 15" can accept.. the 13" won't downclock the 1333mhz ram properly. I put in 8gb ram into mine recently.

Lately I've gone with Crucial memory. I did have builds with all the brands that the above people have posted too with success.
