I have the wireless Mighty Mouse ($70).
I like the mouse but I really hate the fact that it is so late?
Like its so slow for me.
And yes I know how to make it faster in the preferences but its still tooo slow.
When I which to the XP site on my mac the mouse is faster but not quite like
the way it is on my wired microsoft mouse on my Old Compaq pc.
I tried some software called USB Overdrive X but it just made the mouse move faster but what I need is better response time.
I think the scrolling up/down/sidetoside ball responds perfectly but the mouse is slow and I cant stand it.
I have a question: Do all wireless mouses have the same response time like the mighty mouse?
I give it 6/10![]()
What do you guys think of it?

Tried it. Didn't like it. Got a kick ass Razor Diamonback G3 for $50 instead and it's blazing fast.

About a 6/10 for me. When it's clean, it works beautifully, and I like the scroll ball, however, other times its just TOO dirty inside. x)
I don't mind too much however, because someone got it for me. -
I dont own one, for a reason. It's a really crappy mouse, both in ergonomics and performance. Try out pretty much anything from logitech or Microsoft, they're the best bang for buck out there.

I don't like the Mighty Mouse...Apple is not that great in designing mice. I prefer Logitech.

You're not the first to ask this question. You won't find too many people here who like the MM. I have two (wireless and corded) and I use them time to time. I've never had any issues with the mice. I really like the ball. If you do a lot of horizontal scrolling the ball works very well. I primarily use a Logitech MX Revolution. The heavy metal scroll wheel works beautifully when scrolling thru long documents or my personal favorite ... spreadsheets with over 65000 rows.

I just purchased one for my wife, personally my hand is too big to use it comfortably for long periods, I much prefer my MS bluetooth mouse.... but having said that I had expected to hate this mouse after hating every other mac mouse before it, but its actually ok....just. If they could improve the ergonomics 10 fold, I would consider it as my main mouse. But my wife takes looks over function/ease of use, so for her its perfect!

It's not too bad. I like it, but I'll probably get a Logitech mouse after this one.

I have an AWESOME Logitech mouse that I just love. Cordless/rechargeable, scroll left/right... page up/down, previous page/forward blah blah blah...(they don't make it anymore, not sure why). My question is.... If I do decide to buy the MacBook Pro, will my mouse work with it, and what will happen to the right-click feature on my mouse?
-
I think I'll go for one of those logitek mouses that you guys are talking about.

Logitech's VX and MX Revolution are excellent mice, I absolutely love them. If only they also were offered in Bluetooth, that'd be the perfect mouse...

The mouse that comes with the Wacom Tablet I got (look below), works pretty well too! I like how it only works when it's on the tablet, saves me room on my table.

Hmmmm, if I could ponder the english language for a moment..... if you had one "House", the plural would be "Houses", but the plural for "Mouse" (as in the furry little creature) is not "Mouses", it is of course "Mice".... HOWEVER, does the same assumption apply to the computer mouse? There are instances where "Fish" used as a plural is "Fish", and also correct as "Fishes".
Anyhow, back to Mac, I just came back from the Apple store at a local shopping mall, and I think I am going to go for the 15.4" MBP, after being very dissapointed with an HP I bought and returned last week. I just need to save up a few more pennies. I like the $99 deal which gives you 52 one hour lessons over a 1 year period, with an authorized Apple rep. Great value, and a great promotional tool. It swayed my decision. -
.
And good to hear! Tell us how it goes.

I liked the Apple keyboard (wired, not wireless) but didnt like the mighty mouse (never have). Purchased a Logitech S530 keyboard/mouse combo and havent looked back since

Judging by the interaction on the Apple portion of this website, I can't imagine buying an Apple is the wrong decision. The support on here seems to be incredible. You guys are a tight bunch. Just following a funny thread on here about a guys inquiry about putting Vista on an Apple, for all the wrong reasons. I would do it too, but only because of my comfort zone (for now anyways). I am looking forward to getting my feet wet with Leopard. Ok, back to that thread now. Ha ha !!

. Its a good thing really...most problems can be solved without needing to go to Apple support, other than hardware issues.

I hate having to lift my index finger to right click. It is even worse when you try to explain it to friends who are using the mouse.
