hi guys, i've just got my macbook, and i think, i move it, while the hard disk is on, (i didn't wait for the sleep light to start blinking, i thought it was the other way around), do you think i damage my hard disk? how do i know if i damage my hard disk? is there anyway to check?

edit: i only move it across my house, though i did climb up and down stairs, and i turn the notebook upside down for a couple of second.

when the computer is entering sleep, just after i close the notebook (when the sleep light is on, but does not blink) is the 3d movement sensor (sudden motion sensor) still active?

You should be fine. It should go to sleep regardless of moving it or not. If it did not the likely reason was the hard drive sensor. I wouldn't worry.
