    Well.

I was researching on the forum how to propperly clean a macbook pro (made of aluminium, then). I thought firstly about buying a skin such as BSE but I think it will not look good. Therefore, I should care about how to clean it, instead on how to avoid having to clean it, lol.

I read at several places recommendations about using this Magic Eraser, that it would work out perfectly and stuff. But also, I read people saying that it would damage the notebook because it is an abrasive, and has strong chemical on it, and meh.

Therefore, I would like to know if any of you has ever used it and had problems with it. I believe that the people who said it is too strong and would damage the notebook didn't discover this on practice, but guessed. I know there are chemicals, but are they strong enough to do harm to the aluminium body of the macbook pro? Obviously I wouldn't use it on the screen, and neighter would force them too hard when cleaning something.

Any opinions on this topic are welcome. xD

(ps.: I know this product has been mentioned on some topics before, but not specifically, so, there was not like a big conclusion on its use)

    Thanks,
    Fernando.

what I have done before is spray the lcd screen cleaner on a microfiber cloth, let it dry for a few seconds, then wipe it down. haven't had any issues yet.

The best thing to use is distilled water and a microfiber cloth. This will clean everything.

Don't use anything with alcohol in it, Windex, etc.

The skins actually do a better job at keeping things clean IMO.
