    help me!

I just just got a black macbook at the apple store NEW (NOT refurbished). Everything is A-OK until i get home and go online.

i realize someone was using my laptop! the following sites are in the address bar when i type a URL:

    apple.com
    wikipedia
    flicker
    craigslist
    ebay

    and a few others.

What is going on here? has this happened to anyone else? Or did i get a refurbished macbook pushed off as a new one?

Maybe it's from when Apple tested your notebook?

I assume you are using Safari 3.0? If so, it auto fills popular sites by default. Don't worry your blackbook is not used.

It is completely normal. Don't worry. I believe it is the same on my Windows Safari.

I agree... I have a new MacBook and Safari does autofill the sites. I typed in some of the same sites you have and it autofills...
Don't worry, your MacBook is new.

Don't worry, nothing wrong with it! That's just the way it is. Like when you download Firefox, it has some pre-loaded bookmarks as well.

If your MacBook was a refurb, it wouldn't have the fancy packaging.
