I was just going through the rumored new iPod thread and checking out the blogger's youtube video. At first I thought it was just my MBP outputting a noisy signal to my ear buds as they have a low impedance. But then I noticed it was a voice. I quit out of Firefox to eliminate that as a source and the sound stops. I launch Quick Time to activate the line out, and it comes back. With the radio broadcast just by itself, I can hear it a little bit more clearly, but reception is a bit off and on. Turns out its a church sermon. Anyone ever pick up radio signals with your laptop and ear buds before?

I used to pick up radio with some instrument amps. It's really funny
The reason is because your power bar is not grounded/shielded properly. -
That is pretty cool. Never happen to me, but I will have to try that on my MBP now.

Of course, I've heard of people somehow picking up radio signals through fillings in their teeth! So what happened to you doesn't surprise me. -
It's definitely a sign. 8)

Its telling you to buy Sam a new iMac...
Kidding aside, I've never heard of that before.

Hmm... well my Mac talks to me all the time too... brb, gotta hide a body.

Well, mobile phones use the cabling from earphones to get radio so its not entirely unlikely your mbp is doing the same thing.
See if you can change channel. Must be awful to get stuck on some evangelical one -
God is talking to you through your Mac.

My MBP is picking up radio signals O_o
