And it's looking lovely...Poking it now and making 'ooh' noises and really impressed with the build quality.
One annoying thing though. I'm at work and it's trying to start up by connecting to my companies wireless network. Which I don't want it to do. There doesn't seem to be an option for 'no network at this time' - so I'm sort of stuck on that one page with it saying 'you have not filled out the correct info' and not allowing me to click past it...
Is this me being dense?

Congratulations! I hope you love it.

Now off to investigate how to change screen resolutions! -
:
Go to System Preferences > Displays and there's your resolutions. Although changing the resolution from its default doesn't look that great. Leopard will fix that though (so that all resolutions will still look great on the display). -
Thanks... got it working just fine!
Well... actually i do have one very weird/annoying problem.
It doesn't connect to my wireless network. it claims the password I give it (which I know is correct) is invalid. Any idea's gratefully recieved! -

You're probably a lot smarter than I am, but I often try to put in the wrong type of password - for instance, at home we have a WPA router, while at work we use a WEP one. As such, I always forget which type of password I should be inputting. So just make sure you've got the right option selected. I'm sure you already know to do that, but it screws me up sometimes.

Aye - the $ sign worked a treat. `makes no sense mind... but there you go
My first impressions are very good - it's a computer basically - but the design is lovely, it's not running as hot as I'd heard and the screen is superb. Fantastic build quality that's got my girlfriend looking jealously from across the room with her (still ery nice) dell 1210. -
Congrats you will enjoy it
My macbook pro arrived
