Just got a new Core 2 duo Macbook and looking to move my PC AOL mail that is stored on my PC over to Mac. I know AOL uses their proprietary filing cabinet format.
1. Should I move the AOL mail to something like Outlook Express or Outlook then export to Mac mail or Entoruage?
2. Are there instructions out there on how to move the PC AOL mail to the Mac AOL mail?
3. Any suggestions for a good Mac email client?
4. Or is there a Mac program that will import the PC AOL email to a good Mac email client?
Sorry for the many questions just trying to make the transition to the Mac world as painless as possible. Thanks for the help!

If your AOL mail inbox supports IMAP or POP, then you can use Entrouage or Mail.app for viewing your inbox.

If you could use something like Thunderbird to get all the mail, it will save in a standard format which could be used on the Mac. Mail.app is a great choice for an email client.

Deltaflyer i am with AOL and i just use Mac Mail to get all my AOL email.
You can just set up a new IMAP account and port your mail over.
This info maybe helpful for you if you do opt to do that.
