    Got my macbook earlier on this week, but i want to install windows so i can use it via bootcamp for when i need windows.

    I just want to know how easy it is to do.

    Legal or not..... Why wouldn't you just get the RC from MS anyhow? If they still do it that is....

    yes, i believe it's illegal to use a torrented windows 7 but it will run. however it is illegal to discuss a how-to here on nbr.

    Yes that was the only reason i asked about using a torrent one as i can not get hold of it anymore. Maybe i will just use my official xp SP2 then.

    Is it easy to do though?

    simple and very easy. Just read the instructions and everything will be alright. Just to give you an idea. i program almost every on windows. so i allocated 100gb for its partition.

    Sorry one more question can you alter the partion size afterwards or once you have done say 20gb you are stuck with 20gb forever?

    They are still giving away serials. I would just get a serial for windows 7 and Torrent a copy of it.

    you can partition afterward i believe using disk utility but i heard many people getting problems with this and having to restore from back ups.
