The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Need help, redirect to google problem

    I am using Mac OS X 1.5.8, Safari.
    This problem happened today when I click the school library link, I am redirect to the google site. It doesn't happen to other web page, so only the specific school library web page is having this problem. Any idea?
    Is this some kind of malware :(

    I'm not really sure, but this happens to me since the school library site for me can only be accessed at School. So if i try to open it at home it redirects to google for me.

    Actually I was at school, and then I tried again after I got home, everything is normal now...... :p
