This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    How do i make it open documents such as .rtf and .doc by default?

    Select an .rtf or .doc file and Right-Click > Get Info. Choose Neo Office from where it says "Open With" (you may need to locate the application by choosing "Other...") and Click "Change All". Repeat this process with the other file type.

    Off topic, but I dislike the icon for NeoOffice documents a lot :p. I find Office document icons to be much nicer. The icon for Microsoft Word documents looks much nicer.
