The choice for Network is missing from my sidebar and there is no option for it anywhere... It used to be there, where is it now?

So is your computer connecting to the network? For this issue, you can find the folder and then drag it to the sidebar to make the icon again.

I haven't found a way to get it there in Lion.
In Finder Preferences under Sidebar you can add devices, where it shows your main computer. When you select that, you'll see under it everything, including Network. -

Yes I know... I have no issues seeing network devices(they are all there) just not the network option on the side bar...

I know.. you can get the Network option like I said to browse the whole network, but its 1 step in and not on the sidebar. I do not think its possible to get it on the sidebar like it was in 10.6 and earlier.
