New "Special Edition iPhone" Coming Tuesday

The site "ColorWare" seems to have leaked a "Special Edition iPhone". Under it's product release category (they sell brand new custom products, too, so they usually keep on top of things). It says they'll get a "Special Edition iPhone" in stock on April 28. They already paint the iPhone, so Apple might be releasing a special edition iPhone this Tuesday, which is the same day they always release new products.

You could be on to something. Or it might just be special case that this company is making for the iPhone.

 

The company doesn't make cases. Plus is says it's made by Apple. They would put the manufacturer as ColorWare if it was a Special Edition ColorWare iPhone.

 

I was wandering if you could count an iphone as a laptop????? if not why post on a laptop forum

 

I still have a hard time believing that Colorware, of all companies, blogs, and insiders, is the one who would break this...but who knows, you might be right. Certainly going to be paying attention to the store this Tuesday...

 

Everyone else posts iPhone threads in the Apple and OS X category. The iPhone runs on OS X, plus it's an Apple product .

 

Honestly, it may not mean much at all. Could just be a special packaged version that colorware is selling.

But if it is a new iphone, then that will be interesting.

But yeah...a new iPhone is imminent. I can't wait!

 

Though this is interesting and pretty cool... I'm much more interested in when they decide to announce "iPhone Canada".

im pissed i did not mind the 16gb upgrade (i have 8gb) but now in all black and more features. apple got us again.

Oh, damn it! Apple isn't keeping the same features in the second iPhone to keep early adopters, including me, happy? What were they thinking? Releasing a new phone with better features a year after the first came out. *end sarcasm* BTW, that black iPhone picture was a fake, it was just with a custom case that's only available in Hong Kong.

 

3G iPhone please? So we can use it?

 

I, for one, am waiting for the iPhone to officially come to Canada only because with it comes affordable unlimited data plans, at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Data rates right now, here in Canada, are outrageous - one of the most expensive in the world. Apple better tighten the screws on Rogers, or whoever it is that's going to launch the iPhone, for better data plans to go with the launch.

 

That's basically the reason I'm waiting for it as well.
