First up, the Magic Trackpad. It's a big trackpad intended to function like the trackpad in the Macbook/Pros.

Coming soon, the 27" Apple Cinema Display. Reported retail will be $999, which puts it squarely in Dell U2711 price territory. Don't forget for DVI you'll need an adapter.

Mac pro is a HUGE dissapointment for me, why on earth do they insist on using a Radeon card and NOT the FirePro's for you know .... PROFESSIONALS, I would even settle for a Quadro 3700!!!!
the trackpad may be a fun accessory though -
-
Perhaps it is because they couldn't get a Quadro card made with DisplayPort?
I wouldn't want to pay the price Apple would charge for upgrades though, I would rather get a base model with the processor I want, and throw stuff in after it arrives for much cheaper.
I still feel burned with my 2008 Mac Pro, since it has no display port action, and they do not include a free adapter with the Cinema Displays. -

Hmmm, that 27" display is rather smexy and my 30" Apple Cinema Display has given me almost 6 years of faithful service....
-
and Apple likes to put ATI in their non laptop models. would have been a natural choice to me. and my fatherinlaws company was waiting for a refresh to update 3 of them .... now I am guessing not so quickly if at all -
New iMacs are disappointing, no Blu Ray. That's really a downer.
-
I was really hoping the new iMacs were going to deliver. They seem less than spectacular. And Apple please can we get decent graphics cards? Oh well ill sit and wait for the next revision

I don't think that Blu-ray will become a computing standard for quite some time. There's no real use for it yet. People are getting by just fine with DVDs and digital content distribution is growing rapidly because of increasing bandwidth.
-
digital content distribution is spotty as many areas dont have the bandwith to make it practical, and BD does come in handy in that situation. Where I find it personally the most annoying is multimedia creators, whom WANT to backup large files or write projects to disk in BD. They would kill to have a BD-R option or even just BD in a Macbook. and now we are even beginning to find alot of AV content packages coming in BD format, not applications ... YET, but the content packs ( clipart, Video Clips, RAW images etc. ).
for the last 2 years many hardcore print and AV professionals have been getting quite annoyed at the loss of " professional " equipment and the move to a much more consumer model. -
As long as Apple has a Digital Content Store there will not be Blu-Ray Drives in Macs. Apple wants you to buy movies through iTunes rather than play movies on Blu-Ray.
