Whenever i am using iChat, which is the the only thing running and i do a video chat my internet and all my programs I try to use slow down greatly. I have 2gb of RAM and do not expect to happen on a brand new laptop with nothing installed or anything else running. Is this just how it is or do you think something is wrong? thanks alot.

yeah the problem is apple hardware sucks and so do you. No really I don't know what the problem is, maybe try restarting, or get all the latest osx updates
-
Thanks for the help....?.
-
hahah sorry man, if none of that works, then I don't know, did you try any of that? have you tried uninstalling ichat and installing it again?
-
my advice would be stop using training wheels and go buy a real mans computer, a PC.
-
^lol..you remind me of this guy that was in my microprocessors class. Jokes aside, let's try to keep this thread civilized
real man...lol. sorry i just laugh at everything i read. -
I actually just bought the new Sony Vaio and have the Lenova Thinkpad t60. But, again, thanks for the help, real man.
-
Yeah the advantage of a PC is that you get so used to fixing it, eventually you become custom to crappy software and get better at search engines on how to fix things with uninstalling \ installing \ reg fixing.... ohh the list goes on. Then your living the life!
-
Spending $5000 on a PC is overboard if you ask me
. But each to his own, but I find that Mac OS X is the more easy-to-use and logical OS.
-
that guy got no idea what he's talking about, I doubt if he even know what is Mac.
-
I thought he was joking, then again, I find it hard to take a comment like that seriously.
Anyway, according to our sigs that indicate we have pc's, we have all proven that we are grown men with big arms and hairy chests.
Now that we have that out of the way, why don't we try to fix this pour soul's problem?
