    I'm going to have to agree with MastaMarek and call fake if for no other reason than the mock up ad included in the post - "A blend of beauty meets beastly power" Huh?

    Ok, apart from having 3 magsafes, you can see that in the picture of the reversed MBP that's being shown on the screen, the small section of keyboard that is showing is not black. Either Apple has decided to give us an option on the color of the keyboard and added hardware that would require triple the power of the current MBP or this thing is a fake.

    Also, it's reflecting the LCD screen, through the keyboard... and it doesn't reflect the keyboard first. Also, the bllack half, doesn't look like gloss... it just looks like really bad Photoshop skills. If there's anything I've learnt about Apple and their design team, they know how to Photoshop right. This advert is clearly not designed by Apple... and probably the same for the MacBook Pro.
    EMZ=]
    EDIT: Oh, the LCD screen is reflecting on the other supposed MacBook Pro. I still think Apple would never do this... why is the end of the notebook sticking out? That's not Apple :p.

    I hop eto god that isn't real. To me those pics don't really show anything new. Beside 3 magsafes LMAO.

    I just hope that Apple beefs up the GPU. My only gripe with my 17" MBP.

    The only thing that I would want to see black would be the key board and maybe the bezel, but not a black lid. That kills it, makes it look cheap.

    It looks just like a recoloured and stretched-out MBP of the current design. Not to mention the trackpad is abnormally small, and the terrible quality, so I highly doubt this is a real photograph. The lid could be black though, if Apple is following the iMac design.

    I don't really want a glossy lid though. It seems most Windows laptops have went with that glossy feel so it's hardly original. The worse thing though would be if the glossy thing attracts fingerprints like the iPod does.

    And the picture seems very wide, which begs the question. With the advent of 16:9 ratio LCD screens being popularized by Sony, I'm surprised there haven't been rumours that Apple would switch over. It would explain the stretched look anyways. Personally, I'm perfectly happy with the 16:10 ratio and hope they don't switch.

    Why do people want black, aluminum MBPs? I think they look ugly as hell. Not to mention every other PC laptop is black, or jet black, or glossy black. Megh! No thanks.

    black colored aluminum wont last well...
    scratches will be obvious because they wont be black....they will be the standard aluminum in color...

    I Like the idea of 16:9 but i dont like the fact all my current wallpapers are 16:10
    I wonder how the regular macbook will go 16:9
    1280x720, 1366x768(Standard in most HDTVs), 1440x810, 1600x900, 1920x1080(MBP probably)

    16:9 screens have been my theory of the new case redesigns for the mb and mbp so far. i believe that there is no way if 16:9 screens are the next thing that for the timing of these refreshes that they wouldnt go with the 'new' aspect ratio screens, although i also prefer a 16:10 screen.
