    Hi,
I'm trying to decide between these two machines. Here are my questions.

    1) can you turn backlighting off on the 2.4 model?
    2) do they both have the same battery life?
    3) do they both run at the same temperature. It would stand to reason that the 2.4 ghz processor would generate more heat.

    Thanx

I had the 2.0 and took it back today for the 2.4. It's definitely snappier and the heat seems to be the same. I haven't tested the battery. The backlit screen is beautiful. You can shut it off if you're on battery power.
