    Hello all,

I have been a long time reader of this forum but never posted. I recently purchased a Macbook Pro that should arrive tomorrow and will be a new Mac user. My question is this:

I have a Buffalo Link Station Live that I use as a network drive for mine and my wifes Windows PCs.

I am looking for a way to back up the itunes folder or pictures folder that is on my Buffalo Link Station to my Macbook pro so basically any songs or pictures I add to my buffalo link station folders will be updated on my macbook so I don't have to copy new pics/music manually. Can I share my itunes and picture folders on my macbook pro and have some type of backup software update it from the link station? Is this possible?

Thanks for the help! I will post some pics of the new machine tomorrow. Here are specs: 15.4 display, 2.53 ghz, 4 gb RAM, 320gb 7200 rpm HD.

    thanks again,
    william

I am definitely planning on running bootcamp mainly for gaming. Possibly VM Ware Fusion as well.

I received my macbook yesterday and so far I am loving it. I will post another thread and detail my experience so far with it.

But, I am having an issue trying to install vista home premium 64 bit. I followed the guide exactly. I created a 60 gig partition and started the install. I had to use the advanced options to change it over to NTFS which was done with no errors. The installation goes smoothly until the last step where it says completing install.

    I get this error:

"Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install window restart the computer and then restart the installation"

My software and firmware are up to date. I am not sure what to do.

    thanks
    william
