    Hi all,

Firstly I'd like to say that I've been waiting patiently for the new Macbooks like everyone else here and now they have arrived Im like a small child on Xmas Eve! I've never owned my own Macbook before but have used several at college / uni. The reason I'm looking to get one is to edit weddings for family / friends. Nothing fancy. Anyway Im concerned how well the entry level Macbook (aluminum model) can handle video editing before I order one. I going to start off using iMovie and then move onto Final Cut Express probably. I know no-one has had 'hands on' experience yet but all opinions welcome!

    Thanks! :) :) :)

    PS Im from the UK

If you really HAVE to use some mac exclusive programs, go for it. otherwise, get a cheaper pc with better performance that can do video editing equally well if not better.

I know people who edit using FCP on the old white macbooks. So yea, it can do it.

I dunno how HD will be, but standard def it can do.
