    New macbook sleeping problem

    -when i close the lid my macbook take a long time before it starts to snooze.(b4 right when i clsoe it the drive sounds then shuts.)

    -when i open the lid, screen is black and macbook is awake but cant see screen.(1st this happened)

    -when i click sleep, the book goes to sleep, bu tsometimes it takes awile for it to wake up.

    -i have my plug in all the time now i guess it leaked to 99%

    any prog. tht i can run to clean things up? like defragment on pc.

    I have COCONUT BATTERY & Photoshop trial installed.

    let me guess: you have iStat on your dashboard don't you? I think every single post about sleep problems on this board have been caused by iStat.

    i dotn have that program, only coconut battery, it indicates battery stat. but b4 this never happened even if my coconut batt stat is running.

    did you recently upgrade to Leopard? Try removing CB to see if it still does it anyway.
