Has anybody had luck accessing the gpu bios on the new mbp? I can't seem to properly read the bios into nibitor 4.6 so that I can modify the voltage tables and reflash the card. Anybody else attempted to do this or can suggest any other programs?

Considering the GPU is already stretching the limits of the MBP's cooling system, this just sounds like a bad idea.

I'm lowering the voltage for thermal considerations, not trying to overclock the card. It worked very well for my previous Alienware notebook.

RMClock is used to lower the cpu voltage, not the gpu.

as far as i know, you can only undervolt the cpu using an app called coolbook.

i paid 10 bucks for a license. temperatures on load are about 10 degress lower. (Celsius)

what happens when you undervolt the CPU/GPU to the CPU itself? Will it decrease the performance or what exactly? (besides temperature!)

just let it burn if it is going to burn (highly unlikely), if it does get it replaced, if you are playing that many games you must have time to spare right? ^_^

undervolting is more likely to cause a possible issue, possibly where one doesn't exist, too each his own though.
