This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     @ 15"/17" w/ 6750 owners:

    have the heating and freezing issues stabilized?
    or are they still random?
    still consistent?
    or better yet, fixed?

    I received my 15" MBP the day the 10.6.7 update came out (it installed it just after I set up the laptop) and have NEVER experienced any freezing issues.

    I guess I got lucky with the update release date.

    Never had any freezing issues or crashes or problems at all since 10.6.7 came out.. except one time the other day when Flash hosed a buncha stuff and almost locked up the whole OS...but thats Flash for ya!

    no hard freeze but only got it after10.6.7 released =) so far awesome computer.
