    No e-mail confirmation?

    hey guys! well on Friday I ordered my mac pro. Everything went great, but now im waiting for an email confirmation from apple letting me know they recieved the order.

    The good thing is that I confirmed my order with an online apple expert right after i placed it, and on my apple account it says that my mac hasn't been shipped.

    Should I be concerned about not recieving the confirmation?

    If it's showing up on your account, even if it hasn't shipped yet, they clearly got your order. I would not be concerned.

    I would, however, watch its tracking number very carefully when it ships. When I ordered my MBP, it was stolen at a sorting facility. I had to wait a week or so (can't remember exactly how long) before another was shipped. I understand the reasoning--they want to make sure it's not just misplaced for a day--but if you think it's been stolen, you want to start the clock on that waiting period ASAP.

    (Note: the above paragraph is true of ANY computer you're having shipped to you, not just Apples specifically).

    Thank you... I'm guessing tomorrow it will ship and i'll recieve a tracking number :) Now just hope for it to come safely to "papa" lol

    And... Yes. Like I though... Got the confirmation and the shipment notification this morning :) usually how long does it take to arrive with Free Shipping?

    Mine came in three days last month, as I ordered it on a tuesday night and it was there on friday morning. You are in good shape shipping wise, unlike if you order had shipped on thursday or worse yet a wednesday because a weekend would be right around the corner.

    Mac Pros also take longer because they take longer to build then the laptops.

    It doesn't say if he heavily customized it though you can only go change ram and hdd in macs.

    actually I didn't... I bought it with default settings. I'll do some upgrades later on by myself (maybe :p). Anyways, checked out the tracking and seems it'll arrive tomorrow the 27th (faster than I though) :D
