So whats the "final" verdict here?

Is multi touch gestures(excluding basic 2 finger scroll) capable on non-macbooks( eg 4 finger swipe = expose)?

This is a major purchasing decision for me... I inherited a 2010 macbookpro as was considering selling it and getting something like a new dell xps, just for the betters specs (games :) ), and some extra cash left over. however im getting very attached to things like 4 finger swipe, and now don't wanto be left with out them.

oh I should point out this is for ubuntu which I use for uni work.

    cheers guys

My asus n61jq-a1 has a multi touch gesture system that rivals the macbook pros. In fact, I learnt most of my way around the mac touchpad through the use of that. I actually had to teach my friend who has the macbook how to effectively use it in web browsing, scrolling and picture analyzing.
